BAPE Unveils Two New Footwear Silhouettes for Summer 2026

A BATHING APE is expanding its footwear offering with the introduction of two new silhouettes for summer, the FLIP STA and SHARK STA. Launching this weekend, the release sees the Japanese streetwear label explore two distinct design directions, drawing from both skate culture and performance-inspired aesthetics while remaining rooted in the brand’s signature visual identity.

The FLIP STA takes cues from the oversized skate shoes that defined the early 2000s, combining layered materials and bold colour blocking with familiar BAPE design codes. In contrast, the SHARK STA adopts a more technical approach, blending premium fabrication with metallic detailing and streamlined construction. Together, the silhouettes reflect the brand’s continued evolution within the footwear space, balancing nostalgia with contemporary design.

Arriving in a selection of statement colourways, the launch further expands BAPE’s growing catalogue of original footwear models beyond its established staples. The FLIP STA and SHARK STA will be available from the 20th June through BAPE STORE locations and online.
