Bottega Veneta Introduces a New Fragrance Line

Anchored in Venetian heritage, Bottega Veneta unveils a new chapter in the house’s olfactory exploration with Alta. Comprising of ten Eau de Parfums, the fragrance line brings Italy in dialogue with the world through the concept of ‘Intrecciato duo’. In a cross-cultural exchange guided by scent, one ingredient is sourced from Italy, whilst the other is acquired from either Africa, America, Europe, or Asia. Citrus and aromatic notes are blended with woody accords to capture daylight moments and nature’s finest materials. Even the Italian favourite ice cream, stracciatella, is developed with milky and chocolate blends and fused with oakwood in the Ricordami fragrance.

Always Now uses Madagascan vetiver bourbon essence with a vibrant Italian basil that transcends culinary purposes to deliver a fresh trail with depth. Montebello utilises blood orange found in the house’s gardens with North African neroli. Balliamo, Italian for ‘let’s dance’, combines a lush Italian fig with American cedarwood for a sensual duet. Italian talco, typically used in bathing rituals, is infused with Oceania sandalwood for a powdery, elegant scent for Bare Morning.

Blossoming from late summer roses, Slow Rise envelops on the skin with French clary sage. Leather accords, a Bottega Veneta signature, are integrated with warm vanilla in Moment After. Vietnamese benzoin with domestic saffron accord captures a nocturnal feeling in Night Sounds. A syrupy Italian plum mixed with Spanish labdanum is brought together by Velvet Steps for a soft intensity. Lastly, Crepuscolo utilises the saltiness of Fior di Sale with deeper South Asian ouds.

Bottega’s signature Intrecciato weave diagonally sculpts the flacons. In a reference to Venetian architecture, the wooden caps are adorned with gold rings.

Two variations are offered (50 ml and 100 ml) with a 15 ml travel-size version. Refill options are also available because a bottle that exquisite deserves to be reused time and time again. The Alta Discovery Set and Alta Miniature Set allow the customer to try all fragrances before comitting to purchase a full size.
