Inside Nike Football's New Creative Universe.
The World Cup is a matter of days away, and it’s game time. Literally. Nike has unveiled “Rip the Script”, a new global football campaign that champions creativity, individuality and instinctive play ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Positioned as more than a traditional advertising campaign, “Rip the Script” introduces a broader Nike Football universe that extends across sport, music, fashion and entertainment. At its core is a cinematic film set inside a Hollywood mega-studio, where some of football’s biggest names reject convention in favour of spontaneity and self-expression. The campaign reflects Nike’s belief that the game’s most memorable moments happen when players trust their instincts rather than follow a prescribed script.
The film stars a roster of football icons including Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland, alongside legends Eric Cantona, Ronaldinho, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Didier Drogba and Jorge Campos. Cameos from LeBron James, Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, Ted Lasso, Channing Tatum, Young Miko and LISA further reinforce football’s growing influence beyond the pitch, positioning the sport as a cultural force that continues to shape fashion, music and entertainment alike.
