AMI Paris “Thank You For Being A Friend” Capsule Collection Is Here

The French house is marking the milestone with a love letter to the people who got it here. For context, AMI comes from both the French word for “friend” and founder Alexandre Mattiussi’s own initials, so the most fitting way to celebrate felt obvious: go back to the brand’s most basic roots, its name and values, with a capsule collection called “Thank You For Being A Friend.”

The pieces are designed to be loved at first sight, just  simple, easy to wear, and carefully made, from a white jersey T-shirt to cotton caps and a black-and-white bucket hat.

The real heart of the campaign is a portrait series. Fifteen of AMI Paris’ closest friends, familiar faces from around the world who’ve walked alongside founder Alexandre Mattiussi over the years, are each photographed exactly as themselves, paired with a personal message and united by one refrain: thank you for being a friend. Fans were invited to join in too, gathering around photo booths in Paris, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto under the slogan “Aren’t We All Friends?”

The collection is now available online and across select Ami Paris boutiques.
