Botanics meets Shoes.
ASICS and Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen are teaming up once again, this time giving the Gel-Kinetic FR a much softer, more botanical direction. Moving away from the usual technical-looking ASICS aesthetic, Bahnsen takes inspiration from flowers, petals and the transitioning of nature.
Using lightweight materials such as a micro-textured base with fine worked matte and gloss finished around the shoe, Bahnsen’s design can also be spotted with the floral details, beads and her signature drawcord lacing, topped with a padded half tongue and adjustable velcro straps.
The Cecile Bahnsen x Asics Gel-Kinetic FR releases on the 12th September via select retailers as well as Asics themselves.
