An Unreleased Version.
Carlos Alcaraz really said he was coming back to the US Open with a new era. After months away from the court, the Spanish tennis star stepped out in an unreleased Travis Scott x Nike tennis shoe, and yes, everyone immediately noticed. The sneaker is part of Scott’s Cactus Jack collaboration with Nike and marks the first time his signature reverse Swoosh has made its way onto a proper pro-level tennis shoe. Alcaraz wore the brown-and-white pair with a matching Cactus Jack-designed kit, while Travis Scott himself watched from the stands.
Officially dubbed the Travis Scott × Cactus Jack × Nike Zoom Vapor 12 HC, the shoe keeps things pretty understated in a pale ivory and cacao colourway, letting the details do the talking. And while there’s no official release date just yet, the pair is expected to arrive later this year. Honestly, if Carlos wearing them at the US Open is any indication, these are already giving future sneaker grail.
