Dsquared2 Goes Full Rodeo With the New Roxy Bag

The new it-bag?

Dsquared2 is taking its Western fantasy to the streets of Barcelona with the launch of the Roxy Bag, a new statement accessory starring Global Brand Ambassador Bad Gyal, model Noah Brown, and the brand’s founders and creative directors, Dean and Dan Caten. Photographed by Hugo Comte, the campaign moves between dusty Wild West fantasies and the charged energy of the city, capturing the Roxy through a world of raw glamour, sensuality and unapologetic attitude. Inspired by Dsquared2’s Spring/Summer 2006 collection and the feverish celebrity culture of the early 2000s, the imagery feels part rodeo, part paparazzi fever dream
.
The bag itself distils the house’s signature collision of Americana, pop culture and provocative glamour into a single silhouette. Drawing on worn saddle leather, cowboy belts, oversized buckles and harness-inspired straps, the Roxy takes familiar Western codes and pushes them into distinctly Dsquared2 territory. Distressed finishes, elongated straps and archival-inspired typography give it a lived-in attitude, while the logo font was personally selected by Dean and Dan from an archival piece, a subtle detail connecting the new design to the brand’s history
