Consider this your first Shox warning.
First released in the early 2000s, Nike’s Shox R4 has remained a distinctive entry in the Swoosh’s running archive, thanks to its futuristic upper and signature column-based cushioning system. In 2023, London-based designer Martine Rose brought the silhouette back into the collab spotlight with her own take on the model. Now, Corteiz is following suit, with three iterations of the Shox R4 expected to arrive soon.
Details remain limited for now, but the “Silver Surfer” colourway was previewed on Instagram, revealing custom Corteiz branding pressed into its moulded side panels and signature four-column cushioning unit. Two further iterations, coming in black (aka “Black Widow”) and royal blue (billed as “Mystique”) are also rumoured to join the lineup.
Alongside the footwear, the duo have reportedly cooked up an pretty big apparel capsule. The range is expected to include track jackets, track pants, an AeroLoft vest, Pro base layers, jerseys and shorts, with most pieces picking up colour palettes to match the three sneakers on offer.
Enjoy a closer look at the shots below and keep it locked to PAUSE for more details as they come in.
