Wild Horses.
Few motifs are as deeply woven into Stella McCartney’s universe as the horse. That connection took a starring role at the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, which marked the house’s 25th anniversary and the Year of the Horse with a return appearance by horse whisperer Jean-François Pignon and his Camargue ponies. Their graceful runway performance revisited a moment from Fall 2023, reaffirming the animal’s enduring influence on McCartney’s creative language and longstanding commitment to animal welfare. The story continues with Wild Horses, a new short film conceived by McCartney, directed by Gia Coppola and starring Kylie Jenner, bringing the house’s equine fascination into a cinematic exploration of freedom, sensitivity and the natural world.
Seen sharing the water with a trained horse, Jenner trades her signature high-glamour setting for a more elemental encounter, placing mutual trust and coexistence at the heart of the imagery. The Winter 2026 project also introduces the Appaloosa bag, inspired by Lucky Spot, Linda McCartney’s beloved stallion, alongside exclusive My Little Pony charms arriving in December. Beyond the campaign’s visual narrative, McCartney continues to draw attention to the vulnerability of America’s wild horses, with a donation supporting equine welfare charities worldwide.
