Your Next Interior Designer? Swizz Beatz.
Swizz Beatz is taking his love of décor and interior design beyond his own homes and into retail. The Grammy-winning producer and art collector has teamed up with homeware brand CB2 to launch Casa Dean, a furniture and home accessories collection inspired by his love of music, art and family.
Developed alongside Evan Jerry, founder of Studio ANANSI, the collection takes inspo from Swizz’s family home in California, which we got a peek inside back in 2021 through an Architectural Digest Open Door episode. From sculptural sofas and statement chairs to lighting, rugs and glassware, Casa Dean has all the decorative touches needed to complete or elevate the home. And, of course, there’s wall art by artist Megan Gabrielle Harris, a nod to Swizz’s well-known passion for collecting art.
One standout piece is the Lam-Louie DJ Console, a wooden cabinet designed to store vinyl records and DJ equipment, named in honour of Swizz’s father and inspired by a piece of furniture from his childhood.
