WACKO MARIA and Champion have just joined forces, with the first-time collaboration swapping sideline staples for something with a lil’ more bite. Think classic fleece silhouettes, statement graphics and ink-inspired artwork, all designed to bring a rebellious feel to your everyday wardrobe.
Built around Champion’s Reverse Weave sweatshirt range, the five-piece drop takes familiar athletic gear in a more rebellious direction. Hoodies, crewnecks and sweatpants make up the offering, with every piece crafted from heavyweight cotton-blend fleece.
The highlight, no doubt, is a crewneck sweatshirt featuring low-key chest details and a dramatic tattoo-inspired graphic across the back, courtesy of longtime WACKO MARIA collaborator TIM LEHI. The style arrives in five colourways, spanning “Silver Grey” and black to “Amber Brown”, “Light Blue” and “Light Pink”.
Vintage-inspired blue neck labels – referencing Champion’s 1970s designs – round out the drop with a nod to the brand’s archives.
The WACKO MARIA x Champion collection lands on 31 October 31, via both brands’ Japanese stores and online platforms, alongside selected retailers.
