The Yeezy comeback is official.
Whether you like it or not, Yeezy is back.
After four years away from the runway, the controversial label made its return to the fashion stage last night (4 November), presenting its new “Season 01” collection in LA. And yeah… it’s definitely got people talking.
Held at DROAM 1, the brand’s new flagship store, the show saw models walk in circles around a large sculptural mound in an all-white space. As for the collection itself, it was very much business as usual. Think oversized shapes, dusty neutrals, utilitarian layering and minimal footwear, combined with the second-skin pieces and relaxed fits that have long been part of Yeezy’s core aesthetic.
The show also brought out a pretty stacked guest list, with 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, A$AP Nast and Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo among those pulling up. Ye’s wife Bianca Censori and daughter North West were also spotted, alongside Natalie Nunn and the Clermont Twins.
