Antonio Marras presents its Spring/Summer 2016 collection in Milan.
Nautical inspiration is given a military twist in Antonio Marras’ Spring Summer 2016 Collection, as stripes, French berets and neckties were met with splashes of khaki and military-style outerwear. Casual pieces were livened up with a series of delightful tropical prints. Embroidered patchwork print frequently made an appearance, alongside sea wave patterns, which were in the maritime spirit.
Loose fitting trousers and roomy shorts gave the collection a relaxed, summertime feel, and utilitarian pocketing on outerwear raised a sense of functionality. A predominantly nautical palette of navy and white was contrasted with bursts of maroon, crimson and dark turquoise.
