Paul & Joe’s Spring/Summer 2017 Collection held in Paris illustrated that the khaki and beige palette was always a good idea for a summer lightweight silhouette: indeed, the colors could easily be combined with short-sleeved pieces as well as cropped trousers and statement accessories (think suede-like caps and stitched slip-ons). The Paul & Joe Spring/Summer 2017 models even sported headbands on wavy, summery hair, freeing themselves from fashion conventions and habits traditionally restricted to womenswear.
As though they were walking along the Riviera’s sandy beach or simply chilling in The Hamptons’ family second home, the Paul & Joe’s silhouettes bore stripes and prints in a very natural way, even pulling a soft pink outfit and embroidered pieces. High waistlines were introduced in this Paul & Joe Spring/Summer 2017 show, while broad shoulders made a definitive impact on the overall collection.
