Refining feminine silhouettes.
Haider Ackermann is a Colombian-born designer who is inspired by cultural differences and who tends to blend dress codes. The outfits presented at Paris Fashion Week consisted of pieces sewn of different materials. Garments that stood out the most included mixed-material jackets, crushed velvet trousers, leather vests and the pink trouser + striped orange t-shirt combination. Ackermann sophistically refined feminine silhouettes and used resources from high and low cultures.
