Nike sent their app users on a Virgil-motivated treasure hunt.
It wasn’t long ago that Nike rolled-out the extension to their ‘SNKRS’ app called ‘SNKRS Stash’. The idea for the extension was to allow people to take part in treasure hunts in order to find limited edition or exclusive products at ‘Stash Spots’ within the user’s city.
Well, Nike just took advantage of the technology by giving users in New York, Chicago and Berlin a chance to get their hands on a pair of Virgil Abloh’s Air Force 1 Lows from “The Ten”. As you can imagine the competition was fierce, with only the most skilled app users successfully picking up the sneakers.
