Due to the nature of a raffle – which is how you got your hands on these shoes – those who want a pair the most don’t always get the opportunity to buy them at retail price and are forced to pay a premium due to the fact they are no longer available. Now reselling is always expected with these kinds of drops but the average resell price was an eye-watering $11,791, over $10,000 above retail. Furthermore, one buyer was prepared to splash out a whopping $25,000 in order to get a pair in size 11.
