Grace Wales Bonner started her journey by graduating from Central St. Martins in 2014 and then being awarded ‘Emerging Menswear Designer’ at the British Fashion Awards the very next year. Additionally, she then went on to receive the LVMH Young Designer Prize in 2016, likely due to how she is able to physically embody the critical theory, geographical and cultural knowledge, composition, and historical sources she has educated herself on over the course of her working life.
