"New Context for Old Values"

The London-based label Second Best has come out swinging with the imagery to its upcoming collection titled “Another Trip.” Specifically, the lookbook was shot by visual artist Leonn Ward at a World War II military radar facility. As for why this location was chosen, the theme behind the collection is “New Context for Old Values.” In exploring this idea the brand produced 16 new pieces that all have potential to be a staple for your everyday outfit choice.  The collection features outwear garments adorned with cut and sow additions as well as minimalist colours and patterns that somehow produce a standout effect when combined.

The brand itself had this to say about the offerings’ effect: “An imposing structure with subversive intent, this monument to defiance mirrors the garments’ confident, calculated arrangement,” adding “Because to shy away from adversity is to fade into obscurity. Or to put it another way: shy bairns still get nowt.”
