Rolling out their spring/summer 2023 collection lookbook for your consideration, Spencer Phipps’s namesake label PHIPPS recently debuted its pending season offering which centres around the designer’s home of California.
Drawing attention to the significance of home in the process, the offering dubbed “Origin 2.o” reimagines the label’s direction with an enhanced focus on occasion wear throughout. All while simultaneously exuding an air of Cali-cool, the likes of graphic tees, denim, shorts, and overshirts sit alongside their more formal counterparts with hand-painting techniques and vibrant colours utilised across the release. Speaking on the news, Phipps commented:
“After years of running I have come to realize how special of a place California is, and the potential it can hold for myself and PHIPPS as a brand, This collection is also a reflection on my own past experiences. This time around, however, it comes with the adaptations of improvement that only the evolution of time and experience can provide.”
