BOTTER swim back to their roots.
Paris-based and Netherlands-founded label BOTTER has unveiled its newest “The Dive” campaign, taking the label back to its aquatic roots.
Exploring their heritage in the Caribbean and their roots in aquatic wear, BOTTER’s “The Dive” campaign features a selection of striking imagery that shows off how the body acts as a central medium by which meaning is translated across a host of domains, ranging from sport to fashion. Documented at the ‘Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc’ in Barcelona, BOTTER puts the Olympic sport of platform diving at the forefront of the campaign and in particular, Yona Knight-Wisdom, who was the first Jamaican platform diver to compete at the Olympics, thus bringing two of BOTTER’s roots back to one another. Living and breathing through water, BOTTER’s newest pieces are given a new lease of life in this campaign as Yona Knight-Widsom and other leading talent use their bodies to give new meaning to BOTTER’s garments, fusing sports and fashion together, whilst overarchingly celebrating their roots.
