Pigalle’s basketball court storms Paris

Paris fashion label Pigalle is recognized for its love affair with sports. Its founder, Stéphane Ashpool, cites basketball as a crucial influence in American fashion. To continue expressing his affinity for the game, Ashpool partnered with Nike and Ill Studio for a project— yet another wildly colourful basketball court design.

Back in August 2015, Ashpool’s first basketball court took on primary hues. But for this venture, Ashpool reimagined a blacktop differently, using a series of cooler pop colours to completely transform the floor and surrounding walls between a row of Parisian apartments.
