PAUSE Highlights: Your Guide to the Best Luxury Beach Clubs

As Europe braces for another heatwave this week, the idea of escaping our heat-accumulating British homes in favour of a sunny, relaxed climate with fresh waters and a gentle breeze is on almost everyone’s minds. Whether you would opt for the tourist-friendly Marbella or tropical Bangkok, designer brands have touched down at all the finest destinations with luxury beach clubs. As hospitality becomes an experimental new playground, the dialogue between fashion and lifestyle transcends into immersive and aesthetically pleasing cultural spaces. Here is a breakdown of the hottest beach clubs from around the globe.

Jacquemus x Monte Carlo Beach

Returning for a consecutive second year, Jacquemus arrived at the Monte Carlo Beach. Nestled in the Riviera Bay, the prestigious beach club has delivered on “joie de vivre” and Mediterranean elegance since 1928. This time, Jacquemus abandoned the sun-drenched yellow and black palette of 2025 in favour of an updated baby blue. Inspired by 1950s beach clubs, the brand dressed the pontoon, piers, and sunbeds in pastel blues and coconut whites with black accents – creating an immersive environment. Jacquemus’ signature stripes have been placed in a diagonal format on the loungers as a chic touch. At the Pool Bar, speciality drinks including rosé, cocktails, and a matcha-infused piña colada serve as refreshments. A photobooth including the Hippocampe scarf invites visitors to capture the fun. Two seasonal Jacquemus boutiques have since opened on-site, with dedicated window displays, because the best things always come in pairs. The summer collection includes exclusive Jacquemus x Monte Carlo beach towels, T-shirts, and tote bags – designed as a luxury souvenir – along with the Rond Carré clutch in the blue, white, and black palette.

Visitors are welcomed until the 27th of September 2026, and non-guests can purchase an all-day pass for the beach club and pool bar.

Dior x D Maris Bay

Where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean, Turkey meets Dior at the Datça Peninsula. Surrounded by a pine-covered hillside, D Maris Bay is situated in Marmaris – Bodrum’s peaceful little sister. Featured in Forbes, Conde Nast Traveller, and the Michelin Guide, Dior returned to the boat-only resort two years later. In a departure from the bold Toile de Jouy-favoured prints of former creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s 2026 Riviera project was rebranded in line with Jonathan Anderson’s vision. Anderson drew on Monsieur Dior’s lifelong love of the sea and friendship with artist Christian Bérard to create a Dior Riviera capsule that is perfect for dining in the resort’s La Guérite restaurant or lounging on the Dior-branded deckchairs. Pastel blue striped umbrellas and antique white rattan furniture, provided by Business and Pleasure Co., complement the Borusan pool, creating a serene tranquillity. A Bérard-style bow print infused a subtle injection of colour onto the beach floats and Italian sailing boat, with an even smaller fleet displayed at the on-site boutique. Rattan clamshells enclosing sandals and bags, alongside the rest of Anderson’s Riviera offering, are available there.

The activation is open now and expected to close at the end of September.

Guess x The Cocoon Collection

Located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, the archipelago of Zanzibar is home to seventy private villas and thirty hectares of vegetation. In partnership with The Cocoon Collection, an Italian-owned resort brand, Guess brought fashion’s very first beach club activation to an island. Mocha hues were used for the beach, whilst forest greens, resembling the natural tones of Zanzibar, accentuated the poolside. Near the pool, a branded bar with its very own coconut shy serves refreshments. An exclusive motif was designed for the activation, with some elements being made by local craftspeople in a continued dialogue between Guess and Zanzibar. Activities include a bowling corner, bicycle rides, water sports, and a cushioned swing. As the sun sets, candlelit pools and fine dining, with local music, carry on the warmth of the day through to the night.

Guess’ takeover will be open until the end of August.

Off White x La Plage Casanis

Part of the Casanis group, La Plage Casanis in Marbella is Off White’s choice. Centring around their summer motto, “Days Off”, their beach project is deep-rooted in slowing down and taking a physical break from daily expectations. Guests can unwind on comfortable Balinese beds, deckchairs, or hammocks at the main space and VIP lounge. A curated menu of mussels, lobster, wagyu beef, and desserts can be ordered with the service provided directly from your lounger. Tropical cocktails and drinks include ice cubes imprinted with Off White’s cross-arrow motif. However, their “Days Off” slogan remains present on towels, parasols, and a capsule collection featuring tanks, t-shirts, and tote bags. Old-school games like branded playing cards and frisbees embrace the principle of living in the present with a beautiful backdrop of Marbella’s coastline. To those that can’t make the trip, the collection can be ordered by contacting La Plage Casanis’ social media accounts.

It will remain open throughout the end of summer.

Burberry x The Standard

Presenting ‘The Sun Club: Burberry Edition’, Burberry landed at The Standard hotel, which is located in the landmark Mahanakhon Tower. Their signature checks, in a warm yellow, wrapped the loungers, cabanas, food carts and tuk tuk whilst the space is enclosed by placid greenery. Wagyu burgers and seasoned fries make up the compact menu on offer alongside domestically sourced beverages. These include the ‘Sato & Berry’ cocktail that is made from Thai rice wine and the ‘Bee Lemonade’ mocktail comprised of local honey, lemon, soda, and an ice cube for a refreshing touch. Imprinted with Burberry’s logo, complimentary popsicles are offered in mango and watermelon flavours. The Standard Shop stocks Burberry’s ‘High Summer 2026’ and summer collections. Throughout the activation, guests staying at the hotel may receive exclusive Burberry merchandise. For non-guests who wish to attend the installation, a day pass can be purchased, granting access to the pool, gym, locker, shower, and steam room with credit to spend at the Pool Bar.

It is open from the 12th of June until the 31st of July from 7am to 8pm.
