Louis Vuitton Releases a Limited ‘Woody Wagon’ Cologne Giftset

A Californian Escape.

In an ongoing partnership with Californian artist Alex Israel, he brought his vision to Louis Vuitton’s ‘Parfums de Cologne’ collection since 2019. This time, he collaborated with the house to unveil an exclusive ‘Woody Wagon’ gift set. Six colognes are included in a wagon that ressembles the American classic vehicle that bears the same name with LV accents. Subtleties also include a surfboard placed on the car’s roof in a further nod to Los Angeles’ culture.

Alex mentioned that “I’m thrilled to continue exploring my favorite landscape, Los Angeles, on this road trip with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Louis Vuitton. The Woody Wagon has long embodied a certain Californian freedom: surfboard on the roof, family in the back, and the Pacific just over the next hill. In this case, the family is our six Cologne perfumes.”

Symbolising Californian heritage with Louis Vuitton’s savoir-faire, the Woody Wagon giftset sits at the intersection of art, culture, and fashion. As the wagon unfolds, the six colognes form a colourful portrait envisioned by Alex. Limited to only sixty-six pieces, the wagon was engineered by sixty artisans and more than 7000 hours of craftsmanship. Featuring 219 elements that include decorated monogram wheels and wooded doors, a meticulous level of detail was paid in its creation. The maison’s semi-aged leather in mahogany and brown tones elevates the overall piece.

Travel cases inspired by three of their colognes (Sun Song, California Dream and Afternoon Swim) will be released alongside the giftset. Created with translucent resin, the cases mimic the vibrancy of the scents with the signature monogram.

Louis Vuitton’s ‘Woody Wagon’ giftset retails at 9000 euros and can be pre-ordered with delivery in late September. The travel cases will retail at 950 euros and are limited to 100 pieces, respectively. Take a look below.
