Exclusivity on the Rise.
Following substantial growth over the past few years, Chanel recently unveiled they’re planning to open exclusive private stores to cater to their top-spending customers across the globe.
Seeing fast growth in its direct-to-consumer sales, the label plan to bank in on the increase with private boutiques kicking off in early 2023 with key Asian cities. Speaking on the news, CEO Philippe Bondiaux commented:
“Our biggest preoccupation is to protect our customers and in particular our pre-existing customers. We’re going to invest in very protected boutiques to service clients in a very exclusive way.”
