Sportswear titans adidas have come forward with some holiday cheer as the iconic brand tap Christmas’ ever famous flick, Home Alone 2.
Continuing on from their The Grinch inspired Forum Low, adidas make their seasonal mark by celebrating Home Alone 2 and its 30th anniversary, coming through with a heavy dose of Christmas spirit for their newest edition of the famous Forum Low sneaker, looking to Home Alone 2‘s ‘Pigeon Lady’ for inspiration. The pair embrace the film’s famous storyline where protagonist Kevin McCallister is stuck in New York City after being involved in an airport mix-up, incorporating NYC’s famed skyline on the strap of the iconic sneaker. The unique pair keeps to convention and maintains the Forum Low’s robust, low-lying shape, its signature colour-blocking, as well as classic adidas branding. Alternate features include “As long as we have our turtle dove, we’ll be friends forever” text placed on on the inside strap, nodding to McCallister’s world-renowned one-liner directed at the film’s Central Park ‘Pigeon Lady’, as well as a suede composition and a grey and burgundy red colour palette, which again references the ‘Pigeon Lady’ and her famed wardrobe.
The adidas Forum Low Home Alone 2 sneaker will release on December 3rd via the adidas website.
