JJJJound Takes a Minimalist Lens to the adidas Samba for New Collaboration

Dropping Next Week.

It’s been a long time coming for OG sneaker heads but the JJJJound x adidas Samba is officially ready to release as the duo step forward with an official campaign for the pairs.

Coming as naturally as a sneaker collaboration could possibly come about, Montreal’s JJJJound and adidas Originals begin their hopefully fruitful journey of joint releases with two simplistic takes on the iconic Samba silhouette. Proving that the lifespan of the adidas Samba is far from over, these latest pairs were crafted in the adidas’ Scheinfeld factory in Germany and share both outfits’ creative ethos’s, looking to inspire far beyond the design community. In typical JJJJound fashion, a stripped back design palette subtly integrates itself into the classic Samba shape, with the heritage sneaker being given a premium leather update across the two respective black with white stripes and white with black stripes colourways. Maintaining an attention to detail that only JJJJound could undertake, both pairs are curated with co-branded sock liners, custom vintage hang tags, as well as signature gold trefoil “JJJOUND” upper lettering, whilst a co-branded box packages up the pairs with JJJJound tissue paper.

The black iteration of the JJJJound x adidas Samba will be available exclusively on the JJJJound website on March 27th, while the white pair will be available via the adidas CONFIRMED app and JJJJound.
