Stone Island have released their latest “Community as a Form of Research” project, encapsulating looks for Spring/Summer 2025.
Headlined by esteemed director Spike Lee, musicians John Glacier and Giggs, and former footballer Hidetoshi Nakata, the collection advances Stone Island’s technological development with four jackets.
The brand opted to slow roll their future seasonal collection, encapsulating some of their most diverse high tech improvements. Lee is seen in a Metal Cover jacket, coated in a silver metallic polyurethane film to give the piece a crinkled exterior. Nakata’s look plays on Stone Island’s roots, offering a militant, 4 pocket silhouette that has been finished in Laser Camo over their prestigious Raso Gommato fabric.
The pair of musicians sport UV Reactive garments, with Giggs’ sweater highlighted with UV-reactive pigments which have been strung through 1.5 gauge yarn. Glacier has the same technology implemented onto her jacket, this time with the pigment attached to Scan Camo, scanned over Nylon Ripstop.
