Mugler is officially entering a new dimension. Under the fresh creative direction of Miguel Castro Freitas, the House has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, and it’s every bit the neon-soaked fever dream we’ve been waiting for. Shot by Robi Rodriguez, the visuals pivot away from the sterile minimalism currently dominating the industry, opting instead for the grit and glamour of B-movie surrealism and “dream logic” cinema. It’s a high-octane introduction for Freitas, who successfully honours the brand’s legendary retro-futuristic DNA while injecting a sense of nocturnal mystery that feels both visceral and timely.

The collection itself is a masterclass in sculptural power, featuring the razor-sharp shoulders and draped leather that have defined the Mugler silhouette for decades. While the crystalline embellishments and “armoured” tailoring command the spotlight, the real buzz cantered on the debut of Freitas’ first handbags for the House: the Lua and the Aurora. Positioned against nocturnal industrial landscapes, these pieces cement a new chapter of modern femininity, one that is enigmatic, fascinating, and unapologetically bold. The “Stardust Aphrodite” SS26 collection is slated to drop at select boutiques and on Mugler’s web-store this month.
