Jacquemus has released the third episode in its ongoing series of teaser videos ahead of the upcoming show, “Le Palmier“, imagined by Simon Porte Jacquemus and written and directed by Valérie Donzelli. The project unfolds as a short choral comedy, blending subtle burlesque humour with poetry and softness, while drawing on French television and cinema influences from the 1980s and 1990s, cultural references that shaped Jacquemus’ early imagination.
Set against the backdrop of a social soirée, the series becomes a playful stage of shifting identities and masquerade, echoing the rituals and invitations of a fashion show.
