By Mark Borthwick.
HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE has announced “Mark Borthwick: Something Out of Nothing Into Everything,” a special exhibition running from July 1st until the 28th July at ISSEY MIYAKE GINZA | CUBE in Tokyo.
The exhibition reinterprets the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collection through the lens of British photographer Mark Borthwick, presenting a series of photographs and cinematic works shaped by his signature approach to light and image-making. Conceived under Borthwick’s creative direction, the immersive exhibition space extends his visual language beyond the artworks themselves, offering a new perspective on the collection.
