A leather boot by UGG is now a reality, and Willy Chavarria is the designer behind it.
The two have joined forces for their first-ever collaboration, turning UGG’s signature comfort into something far more rugged and rebellious. Inspired by biker culture and Chavarria’s own Mexican-American perspective, the collection plays with the contrast between toughness and tenderness that he’s very known for, pairing heavy full-grain leather with the brand’s signature sheepskin lining. Leading the lineup is the Guard Boot, joined by a Biker Boot, Relaxed Boot, Otzo Clog and even a Slipper, each bringing a distinctly Chavarria attitude to familiar UGG shapes.
The collaboration first made its debut on the runway during Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris, where Romeo Beckham was spotted wearing the collection. Now, the partnership gets its full campaign moment with UGG and KISSES, starring Danny Trejo, Eva Longoria, Becky G and Ivan Cornejo in a playful take on the classic ’90s sitcom Married… with Children, reimagined through a Mexican-American lens. Rounding out the release are the “Hug It” tee and matching socks, with the full collection arriving September 10 at UGG stores, UGG.com and select retailers worldwide.
