By September 4, 2026FASHION NEWS

Congratulations To All The Winners.

And we have our winner. Belgian designer Julie Kegels has officially taken home the 2026 LVMH Prize, becoming the latest name to join the ever-growing list of designers who have used the award as a major launchpad. Kegels, who launched her label in 2024 after graduating from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, has quickly caught attention for her playful approach to womenswear, exploring identity, femininity and the different characters we can become through clothes. Her win comes with a €400,000 prize and a year of mentorship from LVMH experts.

But of course, she wasn’t the only one taking home something from this prestigious awards. Zane Li, the Chinese-born designer behind New York label Lii, was awarded the Karl Lagerfeld Prize for Innovation, while Anil Padia of Kenyan label Yoshita 1967 received the Savoir-Faire Prize. Both designers will receive €200,000 alongside a year of mentorship, making this year’s edition a pretty strong showcase of where emerging fashion is heading.
