Celebrating an icon.
Corteiz and Skepta are coming together to mark 10 years of Konnichiwa, turning one of the defining albums of the UK grime era into a new clothing collection. Released in May 2016, the album went on to win the Mercury Prize later that year, and its influence still runs through British music and street culture today. Now, Corteiz is pulling from that world for a capsule filled with references to Skepta’s music, visuals and Boy Better Know era.
The collection brings together stamp-print T-shirts in pink, black, red, white and camouflage, alongside knitwear and outerwear referencing tracks including “It Ain’t Safe” and “Ladies Hit Squad”. There’s also a collage-style set, graphic tees, an all-white tracksuit and New Era fitted caps carrying BBK and Corteiz branding. Rather than simply celebrating the anniversary with a logo, the collection digs into the visual language surrounding Konnichiwa, making the record’s world part of the clothing itself. The Corteiz x Skepta collection drops online on 20 September 2026.
