Behind the camera is Szilveszter Makó, the photographer whose name seems to be attached to every other cover this year, Olivia Rodrigo’s two Vogue outings among them. He went from newcomer to one of the most in-demand photographers in magazines within months, and some people are already saying they’ve seen enough. With two decades of magazine covers behind her, Keys is a useful test case, either Makó finds something unexpected in a star we think we know, or she becomes another face in a style we already recognise.
