Gypsy Sport stay true to their name in a tasseled SS17 collection.
Gypsy Sport, the result of our increasing obsession with gender-less fashion, paired with the growing trends surrounding Athleisure and Sportswear, presented their SS17 Collection at New York Fashion Week Men’s. The collection was eccentric, vibrant and a true testament to the concept of no limitations.
It presented a range of sportswear like none other as models paraded down an astro-turf like runway in lace, frills and reworked baseball jerseys complete with trackpants and sneakers. It was a clear juxtaposition between aspects of stereo-typically feminine fashions with the otherwise masculine connotations of sportswear. Key looks that particularly took our fancy include the map series that took over the end of the runway show, as well as the textured linen shorts and excessive tasseling.
