Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2018 Commissioned Ignasi Monreal For A “Utopian Fantasy”

The digital painter who often focuses on creatures and landscapes of the fantasy kind, Ignasi Monreal, has been commissioned by Gucci to produce artwork that will front their Spring/Summer 2018 campaign. The campaign is named “Utopian Fantasy,” which as you can imagine aligns with some of  Monreal’s most popular work. As for specifics, the artwork focuses on a fuse of Victorian Era aesthetics and more modern visuals that have experienced an unnerving twist. Furthermore, the art features garments such as tracksuits, graphic crewneck sweatshirts and the globally renowned double G logo appearing on a variety of garments.
