Heavily Rooted.
If there’s somewhere to have your radar on, it’s on the latest collection from Marr LDN. Titled African Dream 2026, the drop lands as a new chapter rooted in memory, shaped by movement, and grounded in something deeply personal.
Shot in a warm, almost time-warped interior, the visuals centre around the designer’s mother, bringing an emotional weight that feels rare. It’s less about nostalgia and more about presence, like a full-circle moment that translates into the clothes themselves.
The silhouettes speak softly but with intention: oversized leather outerwear with sculptural collars, relaxed tailoring that drapes rather than fits, layered hooded sets paired with utility vests, and wide trousers that carry a sense of ease. Workwear is reinvented under her own terms: softened, expanded, and reimagined as something both protective and expressive.
There’s a tactile richness throughout like subtle nods to Senegalese fabrics and volume, reworked into something more understated, more lived-in. Growing up between Dakar and Paris, Marr LDN builds from contrast rather than conflict.
Our must-have piece? The structured leather jacket, cut with precision and weight, stamped on the back with “Saint Louis African Dream” a message that feels both personal and universal.
