13th Wireless Festival

Wireless Festival,  a must not miss in the festival calendar takes place this weekend in North London’s Finsbury Park and will be streamed by MTV UK.

The sold-out festival which spans for 3 days, starting on Friday 6th and ends Sunday 8th July will feature homegrown stars such as Giggs, Stormzy, Belly Squad, Mabel, Davido & Big Shaq alongside international superstars like the Migos, J.Cole, Lil Uzi Vert and DJ Khaled set to appear. However, Cardi B, who was set to headline the festival has since cancelled due to pregnancy.

Set to make history, Wireless Festival announced an all-female stage organised and curated by Smirnoff and Rinse FM; a response to the online backlash regarding the lack of female representation in the festivals original line up. As part of its three year global initiative to close the gender imbalance on club and festival line-ups, Smirnoff Equalising Music, supported by Festival Republic, has teamed up with Rinse FM to curate the first all-female stage and line up that includes Beats 1 radio host Julie Adenuga, Lady Lashurr, Paigey Cakey and many more.

At current tickets for Wireless are sold out, but be sure to keep a lookout on Ticketmaster in case they make a return. Take a look at images from last years festival, courtesy of WirelessFestival.com below:
