Nike have given their new range an added injection of technology this fall; padded collaring and added grip being just two of the winter upgrades for the collection. For people who want to up their sneaker game between seasons, the Nike SneakerBoot collection does more than deliver on this, creating a stylish shoe with lightweight functionality and rugged resistance.
The series encompasses the original SneakerBoot, the Nike Air Force 1 Duckboot, as well as renditions of the Nike Free Run 2, Lunar LDV, Air Max 90 and Roshe Run all being given the SneakerBoot treatment. Much loved styles have been given a more durable and hard-wearing look. SneakerBoot’s Air Max 90 includes an internal neoprene collar that holds and protects the ankle for warmth and support without restriction, as wells as a winterized outsole for the upcoming season. However, the SneakerBoot features do not take away from the original Air Max 90 aesthetic, still having the bold colourways that make the Air Max 90 legendary.
The ever popular Roshe run series have been equipped with a quilted nylon textile at the tongue and forefoot, a unique heel tape detailing and premium leather eyelets. This injection of seasonal adaptation have still kept the Roshe run incredibly lightweight and the ultimate performance-informed everyday wear shoe for this AW13.
We at PAUSE love how Nike have released a season appropriate collection and at the same time keeping our much-loved styles very recognisable. Nike SneakerBoot has given iconic styles a ‘winter coat’ so to speak.
The Sneakerboot range will be available from early October
