The video sees a return collaboration between Alex Mattsson and Red Bull Catwalk Studio. In a age where fashion films are becoming a lot edgier and a lot more daring, Mattsson and rapper Zebra Katz are bringing fashion films into a more contemporary and forward thinking area. Showcasing pieces from Mattsson’s AW14 collection, the video truly captures the subconscious feel of the clothes.
A quiet, dreamlike film that features the track LST CTRL which fits well into the subconscious feel of the collection, features cool innovative prints that truly meet the spacey feel. The new collection, entitled ‘The Dark Wolf’, features pieces that truly push the boundaries in men’s fashion. A brilliant contrast between urban bomber jackets and tight-fitting leather trousers, the collection showcases a wide range of silhouettes and looks that reflect an array of different men.
A forward thinking boiler suit with zip and leather accents is what the design duo are all about; creating pieces that help to redefine what men’s fashion is. A dark, black aesthetic gives this collection a cool and contemporary feel, and gives it a strength that reflects the name of the collection.
