University of Creative Arts Rochester menswear designers surely did express their skills in street urban fashion, and one that kicked off the show was Corey Thompson, who was one of our personal favourites at PAUSE.
The collection played with the idea of identity and hid the faces of the models with mysterious mouth masks. We also oversized hoods, leggings, swim shoes and beanie hats. Corey’s clean collection was covered in monochrome and highlighted the trend of the season; layering.
Lowered seems, dropped hem lines and extended panels of fabric could all be seen and with all the simplistic layers visible, it gave the collection depth and detail. We could definitely see A$AP Rocky sporting this collection.
