Reebok have rebooted one of their classics and brought it back for 2014.
The Ex-O-Fit Lo trainers are making a comeback into the scene, first released in 1987; like most Reebok designs, the shoe adopts a gym shoe silhouette. Now, they have added an EVA midsole that provides ultimate comfort. In Reebok style, the trainer comes in white leather with white fabric inside, and a tanned sole, detailed toe box, and branding on the side.
Quite similarly, the Powerphase OG’s by adidas Originals, is inspired by the 80s and mocks a gym silhouette. No doubt adidas have designed this trainer with Reebok in mind! The all white leather trainer adopts very similar features that Reebok are known for; such as the popular tanned gum sole. Like the Ex-O-Fit Lo, the Powerphase OG’s are sat on an EVA cushioned midsole for extra comfort, fabric insole, flat laces and perforated detailing on the toe box for breathability.
The Ex-O-Lo’s are available at size? for £65 and The Powerphase OG’s can be purchased from size also for £62. Very similar price points but let’s not make our judgement yet. You weigh in and let us know which one is better by voting below:

If the Powerphase is a “new” design, the “designer” should be fired, for making such a blatant and lazy rip-off. The Exo-Fit is one of THE MOST iconic Reebok shoes, so ripping it off makes absolutely zero sense. Now, if the Powerphase had originally came out before the Exo-Fit, that’s a whole different story…
