Although Alessandro Michele presented a predominantly androgynous runway collection for Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2016 womenswear show, menswear fittings additionally featured for an encore performance in Milan. Bursting with colour, Michele’s flamboyant exhibition featured groovy, vintage-like looks inspired by movements of the 1970’s, with menswear designs also following suit. Sharp suitings with ornate prints were on the agenda, adorned with flower power designs, while lace and retro-embellishments juxtaposed.
