This summer FILA revives several vintage styles of sneaker as seen in the 80’s and 90’s.
If ever you felt a 90’s Fila-shaped hole in your footwear collection, 2016 would be the year that changes. Fila have announced a sort of revival on their ever-classic 80’s and 90’s styles and propose to revamp them just in time for this summer (aka now…) Take the Original Fitness for example, it’s 2016 counterpart is a luxuriously suave beige suede offering that may well be the first we at PAUSE add to our collections. Following this, they’ve also recreated the Trailblazer in red, green, black and brown as well as showcasing some Fila slides and the Original Tennis in a classic blue, red and white style.
This 2016 revamp is arguably propelled by fashion’s emerging love affair with sportswear and the rise in the ‘athleisure’ trend – one which PAUSE are extremely on board with for what it’s worth.
