When high-functionality meets street-ready style.
The Nike ACG collections are built on adaptability for city-dwellers. That’s why this Holiday 2016 collection was made with three key characteristics – comfort, versatility and weather protection.
“Apparel with adaptability and articulation is essential when navigating the city,” explains NikeLab Senior Design Director Jarrett Reynolds. “Garments with features like removable hoods and strap systems help you adapt and transform to your environment. Everything we design for ACG has a reason and has to perform.”
The super-versatile collection consists of a range of outerwear with the addition of some footwear choices, also. On the apparel side of things, we see an Alpine Jacket, Cargo Pant, System Blazer, Short-Sleeve Top, Woven Pant and Funnel Hoody. All outerwear pieces are installed with an interior strap system, providing the wearer with the opportunity to carry each jacket like a backpack when moving from outdoors to indoors.
Rounding out the collection is a line of the Nike ACG Zoom Tallac in three different colourways. The Zoom Tallac combines the durability of a hiking boot with the traction and buoyancy of a lightweight runner.
The NikeLab ACG Holiday 2016 Collection is set to release on 1st December online and in select stockists.
