Nike will debut the most evolved form of Air Max tomorrow.
After months of waiting and speculation, COMME des GARÇONS x NikeLab Air VaporMax, the most advanced Air Max model, will be released on February 10. The shoe was debuted during CDG Paris SS17 fashion show and was creating hype ever since. The ultra-modern shoe combines Rei Kawakubo’s modernism with Nike’s advanced Air technology. Nike used new technologies to incorporate additional air and exterior layer into one standalone unit and to create a visual appearance of walking on air. The Flyknit pair that will feature a visible air tooling on the outsole is expected to be priced at $200. The shoe should be initially released in black and white colourways, however, more colourways are to be expected in March 2017.
