MFW: Damir Doma Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

An exciting new direction for Damir Doma.

Damir Doma presented their new Spring/Summer 2018 collection during Milan Fashion Week.

Damir Doma is a Croatian fashion designer who founded his Damir Doma brand in 2006 after graduating from a  fashion school in Munich and Berlin and working for Raf Simons and Dirk Schönberger. According to the Germany’s largest newspaper BILD, Damir Doma is the most important German fashion designer after Karl Lagerfeld and Jil Sander.

Damir Doma brand is known for its interplay between shadow and light, elements of androgyny as well as a glimpse of uniformity. However, for their newest collection, the brand decided to go in a surprising direction. Damir Doma Spring/Summer 2018 collection is heavily focused on prints and it features many colourful items, something completely unexpected from the fashion’s monochromatic master. The new SS18 collection features Damir Doma’s collaborative capsule with an Italian sportswear brand Lotta, purple bomber jackets as well as oversized hoodies.
