Rick Owens and adidas put their sneaker collaboration to an end after four years of creating art. The sneaker collaboration between Rick Owens and global sportswear brand adidas was one that had everyone talking, providing sneaker silhouettes that were never seen in the market. Statement footwear that was instantly street styled around the world, the collaboration was never missed.
A representative mentioned “Both parties enjoyed great success over the past four years,” and also added, “as this collaboration comes to a natural conclusion, they continue to hold each other in the highest regard.”
Rick Owens will continue to make shoes but with US brand Hood Rubber. The collaboration between Rick Owens and Hood Rubber debuted at Rick Owen’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show. However, Adidas will continue its collaborations with Raf Simons and Kanye West.
