Gucci is once again digging in its archives, this time bringing back the 80s velvet tracksuit set which debuted at the luxury brands Spring/Summer runway show.
Paying homage to the 80s, the retro jacket and sweatpants appear in mahogany, chocolate brown and mustard yellow mix, with an embroidered Gucci’s interlinked “GG” logo sitting on the chest of the jacket. Made in Italy, the jacket sports kimono sleeves, with a standing collar and silver zippers, a call back to the baggy style seen on notable rappers and fashionista’s in the 80s. With a baggy silhouette, the sweatpants feature elasticated cuffs and cotton drawstrings around the waistline for a secure, and ultra comfortable fit. The matching jacket and pants are rounded off with white piping detail.
